cream color with the biggest wall being a darker brown and I have one wall with two windows and another with one window, then its the wall thats behind the door which are small. So that only leaves the big wall right when you walk in the house.(small house by the way 1bed1bath) also right when you walk in the house is the living room and to the right is like the dining area where ill place the kitchen table and this is where the light cream tile begins and goes all throughout the kitchen and if you keep going forward in the opposite direction from the ketchen the tile goes just to the door of the bedroom(bedroom has light cream carpet the same as the living room) on the left and the bathroom to the right has light cream tile as well (its a small house by the way) the living room and the bedroom have light cream carpet. Right now the walls are painted white but I wanted to modernize because im under 30 still :) I have Black T.V. stand from Walmart but any suggestions would be appreciated and I also have a couch that has a black sofa cover(also from walmart) with red pillows. I ve got a glass circle nice center table and the cabinets that are a dark Brown and a gray(ugly) but which were painted before I bought the house but Id like to paint them to match with the rest of the house. Also the the inside of the kitchen has flower wall paper that I want to change and paint, and the cabinets are yellow and white also painted before I bought the house... any suggestions on designing or decorating/painting/etc. I would appreciate??? Thanks! its my first home and im not too good at all this but I did lay the carpet and tile myself! :)

How to Cover Up a Shower Window?

We just moved into our house a few months ago and there is a window in the shower of our bathroom that has been sided over and they covered it with wooden shutters. Not only are the shutters ugly but they get molded from the water splashing on them. We want to make a mosaic out of glass tile to cover up the window and replace the shutters but have no idea where to start. If anyone has had experience doing this or has went through the same problem any help at all would be appreciated! =]
Sorry I guess I should have said that when they resided the house they closed off that window so I just want to make it look better and keep away the mold and mildew.
