We recently bought a co-op apartment in the outer borough of NYC. It has only 1 bathroom and is very outdated - we will be renovating it very soon. My fiance wants to get rid of the tub and just put a glass/tile shower in place of it with no tub. I am all for that but I am worried that having no tub in a bathroom will lower the value of our place when we do decide to sell it (probably in about 5 years...).
Is this true?

We are remodeling our bathroom and our colors are med to light brown. Our border around it is beige/chocolate glass tiles. It looks fairly modern but we can't figure out what color of the paint to chose. There really isn't a lot of wall to paint but we still need to paint.
Here are some links to give you an idea of how it looks now:
Our main tiles - http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100570678&N=10000003+90021+527934
our border and behind our vanity is similar to this color: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100616410&N=10000003+90021+525142
Our vanity is black cabinet and white porcelain top (very modern style).
PLEASE HELP!!! I can't figure out which paint color to pick for the small amount of wall that needs to be painted.
Any suggestions?
